Turkey Dinner

The event is scheduled for the Saturday of President’s Day weekend in February, and it offers both dine-in and take-out options. Local residents in our coverage area will receive mailed tickets, but tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event. The event will run from noon until 8pm and will take place at the Firehouse located at 100 S Bay Ave.

Held the end of April or beginning of May.  Live music, craft vendors, craft beer and food trucks!   (must 21 to purchase drink tickets) Tickets can be purchased at the event upon arrival.  Free event if you would like to enjoy the food trucks, vendors and live music at Veteran’s Park in Beach Haven. Between Amber & Engleside near the ocean

Event held by Fantasy Island* See First Responder vehicles from near and far.  Fire, Police, Ems, Forestry and additional trucks/crew members allow children and parents to see the different apparatus

Held the Saturday before Indigenous People’s Day (Columbus Day) Weekend.  At this event you may purchase drink tickets, listen to live music, see craft vendors, have something to eat, as well as fun for the kids.

 This is held at Veterans Park. Held on Memorial Day.  A parade to the park, followed by 21 gun salute by the BHPD, followed by a ceremony with speakers, acknowledging the service members.

National-Night-Out-Day

This event is held by LBTPD.  It is held primarily on the First Tuesday in August at Bayview Park (across from LBTPD/LBT Boro Hall)

This event is held by Fantasy Island Amusement Park.  Fantasy Island asks BHVFC to “stand by” in the event of an emergency.

Held yearly at the Beach Haven School.

Members of BHVFC educate and teach students how to evacuate their homes, what to stay away from, show them our trucks, PPE (equipment that protects us) & bring a special visitor, Sparky!

Fire Prevention occurs during the week of October 9th, and is the longest-running public health observance in our country. Fire Prevention Week was established nationally because of the “Great Chicago Fire” that happened October 8-10, 1871.

Starts at Veteran’s Park and ends at BH School with Trunk or Treat.

See the kids dressed up in their best costumes, escorted by BHVFC and BHPD down Bay Ave to their school.

Thanks to our friends at the Surf Light Theatre in Beach Haven, this yearly comedy event is held at their location with part of the proceeds donated back to BHVFC.

Bring in the Christmas Spirit as Santa arrives via Fire Truck to light the Christmas Tree @ Veteran’s Park.  Santa takes pictures, delivers Candy canes & sings Carols with members of the community.

Watch Santa arrive to the Firehouse with an escort of BHVFC, BHPD & LBTPD.  Santa stays at the fire house to take pictures with the children.  At the firehouse children are able to color, drink hot cocoa, and take a ride on the fire trucks with members of the BHVFC. 

That evening Santa delivers gifts throughout our coverage area with an escort of BHVFC members and apparatus.  **Prior to gift drop, parents/guardians (if wanting to participate) drop off pre wrapped & labeled gifts to the fire house**
